Research to improve wastewater treatment system of Dung Quat biofuel plant
Abstract
The biggest challenge in the production of biofuel from cassava is the treatment of a great volume of wastewater with high organic content, low pH level, suspended solids and high temperature, etc. On the basis of analysing samples of wastewater and studying the design and operations of the wastewater treatment system of Dung Quat Bioethanol Plant, a plan of overall renovation was proposed by the research team based on the principles of ensuring the design functions and improving the efficiency of the units to meet the requirements of the regulation on wastewater.
