Abstract
Bạch Hổ là mỏ dầu lớn nhất trên thêm lục địa nước ta bao gồm nhiều thân dầu phân bố liên tục từ Miocen dưới tới Oligocen trên, Oligocen dưới và móng đá kết tinh tuổi trước Đệ tam. Trong đó, thân dầu trong đá móng nút nẻ - hang hốc trước Đệ tam đặc trưng bởi chiều cao lên tới gần 2.000m và hàng loạt giếng khoan cho lưu lượng ban đầu trên dưới 1.000 tấn/ngày đêm đã đưa mỏ Bạch Hổ trở thành một trong những mỏ dầu đặc biệt hiếm có trên thế giới [1].
