National emergency response plan for rig and pipeline fire and explosion incidents
Abstract
The National Emergency Response Plan for Rig and Pipeline Fire & Explosion Incidents was prepared in accordance with existing legal requirements on safety for oil and gas installations. This document is applied for activities, facilities and personnel on the oil and gas installations, which include offshore rigs and oil and gas transportation pipelines under the management of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex).
The plan provides essential guidelines on emergency response at national level against offshore accidents for consolidating the Incident Control System, mitigating loss and damage in case of a dangerous event.
