Abstract

Hai Thach field (Block 05-2, Nam Con Son basin) is a gas - condensate field with high geological complexity, high temperature and pressure. In general, reservoir properties strongly vary between different areas of the field which affect the production as well as the condensate banking in the bottom of the well and near wellbore region with different intensity between produced reservoirs.

In this study, an integrated simulation method combining multiphase pipeline simulation software with the input from the results of reservoir simulation is used to verify the condensate banking and its effects in the well production, on that basis optimising production forecast for gas-condensate wells in Hai Thach field.
