Evaluation of inhibition efficiency of corrosion and scale inhibitor for oil pipelines
In this study, corrosion and scale inhibitor used in oil pipelines has been prepared, based on 20% of active com-ponent (N-butyl-2-heptadecenyl imidazoline acrylate and phosphonic acid compounds) and 80% of additives (NP10, isopropanol and acid citric). The results indicated that the corrosion inhibiton efficiency by electrochemical test could reach over 90% and the anti-scaling efficiency by static test over 86%.
